CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
The 2002 Agreement stipulates that any CUU NR pertaining to SC must have TCK's approval (sec 14, if I remember correctly). There may well be a mutual understanding between CUU and TCK about the low profile approach in regard to SC. Obviously TCK does not want the world to know too much especially if the potential is great, not before they make their decision anyway. That may explain the low profile approach by CUU management regarding SC's potential so far. Of course, I'm just speculating and it's IMO only.
