CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
OK, I'll be the devils advocate here...
You can't be valued at 80% of your pre-tax NPV when you require $3.25 billion in Capex.
Problem is, we all know the truth, but that is what is in our BFS
...and it would be a good reason for Teck to pass
I know, there is more to it
..but so far all we have is Elmer on a conference call to about a dozen of us here explaining the nuances
Since we are the choir, that preaching didn''t get far
Somebody has to get some clarification to a greater cross section of the market
Like somebody mentioned, our price may be based on pounds in the ground, but Teck has to deal with shareholders who won't be happy with our need for 500% of the current share price
