CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
So what's Teck really paying to get 75%:
The financing (800 million) is paid back upon production.
The 4x expenditures 360 million, they would put in building the mine anyway...
So yeah..Teck is getting 75% for free. BILLIONS for free.
If they take out CUU, they can enhance the BFS whenever they want and as much as they want.
* They know 1/2 the Paramount & Liard Chargeability wasn't touched and is 1:1
* They know the High grade starter pit is open to depth (800m), East and North
* They know the inferred is not waste rock
* They know the Feasibility included 940 million tonnes but that our resources estimate shows 1.8 Billion tonnes
* They know the the Enviro permits are around the corner, because we have no issues = All majors look for that. We can use the 5% not 8% with these.
* They now know the Discovery zone is mineralized (and the get Mess Creek and the whole trend, to match the 72K Hectares they secured not to long ago)
* They know we have a port secured and Power line
* They are aware of the futur supply problems and the need to secure large deposits in safe jurisdictions.
They are getting 75% of all this for FREE !! Plus they could buy us (to get rid of the option agreement) and sell 50% to 2 other majors that want in. Split the cost and keep control and Liard shares.
