I agree with WG, if ES has said to some who called or visited him at the show that the BFS will be delivered by this week then I expect it Friday or latest a few days after that. And if CUU is not in negotiations now, then expect the Liard shares to be transferred and negotiations started immediately after. Teck has everything they need to place an offer and WG is correct to assume that this is PRIME TIME for an initial offer.
My speculation is that if their offer too low, then it could drag out a few months before we finally reach a deal. The LD shares will transfer and all eyes will be on CUU.
On a side note, how about CUU take an Inmet approach to negotiations if things go sideways:
