I would dearly love to give cuushareholder's recent posts the royal heave, but enough respected posters here have responded to his oft-repeated bugaboo about the likelihood of an NDP election in BC that I guess I'm going to have to hold off doing that, despite long being suspicious of cuushareholder's real agenda here.

So, let's have it out in the open and initiate a political discussion on the main forum, which is something I've tried very hard to avoid in the past. But let's restrict that discussion strictly to the next election in BC and how it may or may not influence development at Schaft Creek. Any deviation from that and I'll report and process a violation.

For the record, I'm with Dwight who suggests that "Any goverment which would try to curtail the mining industry in BC would likely be out of power at the next election." In fact, I'd go further: any government stupid enough to even suggest that curtailing the mining industry in BC would be a good thing wouldn't get elected in the first place.
