I don't see any disagreement

I was asking a rhetorical question

I was responding to someone suggesting that we should negotiate for a 5% NPV

There is no other factor that can be used

My druthers would be to not even use an NPV in the negotiations

The actual life of our project deoes not lend itself to discounting methodoligies IMO
