You are implying that the North end of Van Island doesn't get snow? LOL! They can get 2 ft any given day from mid Nov to mid March. Remember the Tsitika hill ? How about the hill down to Sayward?

I don't doubt the Ministry of transport will look at the road and the increased use. A few passing lanes and fix up some pavement. Any hwy being used needs maintenance and improvement - HWy 37 will be no different. They have about 6-7 years to work whatever issues HWy 37 might have. Debating what the hwy is going to be like then at this point in time is pointless.
