You hit the nail on the head RT! If they were going to buyout Cuu 100% wouldn`t transferring them just be a waste of time and money? If they are talking buyout I wouldn`t bother asking for the shares now either. However, if that option fell through somehow then yes I would politely ask for them to be transferred asap. Does this reasoning make sense to anyone?

Thats exactly what is happening. Why else would you be tip toeing around being nice to each other? They are in "Discussions". Technically they could be in discussion right up until they announce a buyout offer. At which time it could be called "negotiations".

CUU is telling everyone to shutup while the they pass a napkin back and forth with pencilled suggestions of a buyout. This is a hush-hush operation, because if Teck begins to play hardball; then CUU starts shopping their JV to another party and then go back to EE and issue a 2013 Drill plan ready to swiss cheese the deposit. Both parties DO NOT want it to go that route, resulting in more delays and more posturing.
