CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I agree, YourNadir. 2 bucks x 400,000,000 shares = $800,000,000
That's a pretty sweet price for everything lock, stock and barrel. That includes all our expenditures to date (throw the 4 x eligible expenditures out the window), Schaft Creek lands within the area of interest, lands outside of the area of interest, the NTL access, road access, Port of Stewart, the all-too-sought-after Liard shares, etc.
Yup, pretty sweet for under a billion. In my mind, we may as well let them just back in for 75%. At least in this way, we can fully realize the value of the mine based upon future metal prices. I am not in favour of letting Teck have their way with us. I'd rather hold our 25% interest and sell it in better days in the future.
This is the precise reason why a company shouldn't comment on the share price. It can become fodder for a major conflict.
Thanks again, Mantical, I really very much appreciate you reporting back to this forum. It's this kind of knowledge sharing which makes us a strong forum.
