Lindsay sounded pretty optimistic that China will remain relatively strong, despite some political messages coming out of that country, and thinks the U.S. will continue on an upward trend.
But says Teck is being cautious with its projected sales and profits figures.
Teck will remain diversified, but he did make mention of copper's strength a few times and mentioned that Teck has increased its copper production by 60% since 2007.
"We're sitting on billions in cash so we're looking for opportunities."
And he mentioned that the junior miners at PDAC are generally cashed starved. Boy, he's the cheshire cat in that room!
