CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
But this is Canada...Grant (note the play on words).
Are you surprised that the government has their grubby little hands in there and has invented a reason to squeeze a million out of a company they know is eager to push this forward. In Canada, and with the heavy liberal fan base, this doesn't surprise me one bit. They have to dream up some way to "create" work and jobs that don't need to exist in the first place.
I'm past the point of worrying about a million dollars here or there on this project. I just want to see a deal done, and if that happens, that million won't have a noticeable impact on the buyout price.
We're all weary I think, but I'm cautiously optimistic and finally feel that there's an end in sight one way or another. Good on you for sticking it out this long with all the others. Hang in there.
