I used to think so as well - but CCY - they didn't completely walk...but they worked something else out. It's not exactly what anyone there was thinking.

CCY is in Mexico, they don't have winter to worry about. CUU can't waste time with the limited season they have.

My point was that it took 1 second for many here to have an opinion the minute the Feasibility numbers came out in Dec. Teck worked on those numbers well before they came out.

Forget about the 45 days to file, Teck had the appendices in early Dec, they transfered CUU's data base many many months before the feasibility was even close to being released. they even had an extra 30 days after the 45 days.

So if Teck was out, they would have been out in Jan, giving CUU time to find a new partner and prepare for May.

A NR was released Feb 4th that they are in discussions, here we are almost 2 months later and Teck is still not out.

So the longer it takes, the better...
