MTS -
I asked ES at Smithers - that since Cuu would be more expensive to Teck if they waited for the EA to be done, did he think that they might buy us out before that happens? I was half expecting him to say something such as - Teck may not be interested in buying us out at all.
He did not. He instead gave me an answer about how Teck could wait for the EA or act before the EA. Both answers indicated (to me) that the option of them buying us out was something still being contemplated.(since he did not correct me on my assumption of them buying us out)
Another question I asked was something like, would there be any advantage for us (Cuu) selling Teck our interest in the SC claims and we go on exploring the rest of the lands that we have there.
His answer was that - he would rather do that in Arizona.
I took that to mean he hopes the whole thing will go at once. Would we try sell the other claims to a third party without doing more drilling? I would not think so. If Teck were just to backin for a percentage I don't think Elmer would just head off to Arizona and put the BC lands on hold.
May be I am grasping at straws but I think for ES to be fantasizing about exploring Arizona then all of the BC interest have to be dealt with first. Which means a total buyout or there is more exploration work to be done here. He seems to be changing his focus to Arizona.
I am hoping he is not just wishful thinking out loud but can see a light at the end of this long tunnel and is getting excited about it.
