Chappy, I've been banging the drum on the 120 day feature in the contract for a long time. if it gets thrown out, what else can be ignored. IMO it's just plain bush league to have a contract, and treat it as a guide line, rather than a firm set of conditions that have been previously agreed to. what other parts of it may be onerous to Teck.
I've been opposed on this, by intelligent people, on the grounds it's a huge, complicated deal and it takes time to line up partners..first, that makes Teck's problems our problems and second, if they need more time, request it and give us something in return.
This isn't being hard to deal with, it's business..respect the contract that's been mutually agreed to.
The reason many of us are here is, we have an agreement. it's what I personally bought into as well as the insider involvement. it's not the time to treat it as an insignificant document.
Teck has been in the loop with weekly meetings, their engineers have been involved and they've downloaded our entire database..they've had a lot more time than the last few months to get their ducks in line, it's time to make a decision.......chunky
