CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
All it takes is 1 institution....what happens if we get 5...
Would be great, but let's be realistic Vette.
1. We need to be over a dollar pre-institutional buying or we won't be being bought at all.
2. Institutions have pre-determined %'s for different sectors. With the downturn in commodities, they're probably not dying to buy base metals.
3. Outside of the downturn, they'll probably want to buy more safer investments, so if they're interested in the SC development, they'd buy more TECK if any CUU at all. Even if they did buy juniors, they'd be a much smaller percentage and of that percentage it would still be diversified.
Not saying we're still not worth more, that we won't have more buying etc. but I wouldn't hope for much institutional buying at this time. We really need a REAL liquidity event (i.e. an acquisition). We probably won't get massive jumps in price or volume from institutions.
