CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
In the conference call ES also mentioned that if we expand the East mineralization a few hundred meters that will also allow expansion of the pit and make mining the deeper material possible. Our grades get much better the further we go down. All these factors will drastically improve the economics of this project.
Imho, another Major or (Teck) following this story closely will do their own internal numbers to arrive at a decision to buy us out. We may not even have to wait for an update on RE or FS or for Teck to formally make a decision to production. A buyout decision could even come right after the drill season this summer. That wouldn't surprise me one bit.
