CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Vette, you ve been saying explicitly over the past 3 years that teck wont wait for the BFS to buy us out and that the liquidation event could be just around the corner... why would the buyout happen anytime soon now that obviously Teck did not process with this final stretch and that the outcome of the negotiation suggests no other party was interested/involved ? If drill results shows positive results, teck would now be willing to over pay for our 25%? my opinion is that they got 75% for almost free, why the hell would they stretch a billion and a half for that other 25% since there is no control attached to it?
75% for 60M, the other 25% for 1 billion?
they will likely let us sell this 25% to whoever we please since that part of the pie is just a spectator of Teck's show anyway. If teck says its not a mine, that 25% is worthless (not very likely but its not a done deal either)
