Wouldn't a delay be beneficial for us? We're not ready either and that way BC Hydro doesn't have to agree to wait as long. At least they've put up all the towers and only have to string the wire, so there's no turning back now.
I am keen to see the results of the study to see what the cost will be for building the extension of the line, and what sort of timeframe is estimated. Also, once BC Hydro gives us their report then Teck has to respond either by signing up right away and declaring their intention to start, or indicating something about their timeframe. They can't just let it go and lose their place in the queue.
We have so few concrete indications of what is really going on that this one is important.
