I agree with Stockfriend that I appreciate Calvin attempt to place a realistic value on SC. It is a difficult job to compare mines but it is one of the few tools available. And as he stated, this doesn't include all the improvements that feed directly to the bottom line.

Funny I just read how the Rosemont mine has had another setback...

It goes to show how everyone is finding it more and more difficult to get mines up and running. Many of the regulations that mines face nowdays are great, while others are ridiculous. Regardless of the causes, the time process needed to get a mine up and running has really lengthened. For this reason alone I really like our position because Teck is paying our costs and I don't need to worry about a hostile takeover (as is happening with Rosemount).

I think the process will only begin to shorten again when the world starts facing copper shortages. Then it will realize that these mines cannot be started quickly.

I continue to feel very comfortable and confident with my investment. I appreciate the news and prespective that many of you bring. I wouldn't be here without that knowledge and input.

I have been averaging down while the SP has dropped and have done some bigger purchases around the 0.23-0.24 level. I trade in five different accounts with a total of 575,000 shares and an average cost of about $0.67/share. So I have a pretty big paper loss at the moment, but I remain fully confident that SC alone will bring $2.00+ a share. I continue to make no expectations on the timing though - I would like it to be next month but I'm ok if it takes 3-4 years for me to at least triple my money.

P.S. I sure like what I'm reading of Copper Fox's Van Dyke project. I have been mostly be ignoring the project but I'm thankful that Elmer saw the potential. Thanks to the person who posted the following link.
