Concur - while the NDP are known to be against some major projects, the BC provincial election is at least 3 years away; whereas the next Federal is 2015; hence my earlier speculation about approval being done sometime next year.

While the federal Liberals are in no way as anti-business as the NDP, they are certainly more pro-environment than the Tories / Conservatives. However, any federal govt in the next few years will be challenged not to support any significant resource development, espicially one that from what's being reported, is supported by the local and influential Thaltan nation.

but as i said, just my speculation.
