I agree that they have ''nothing to lose'' and extending warrants is quite easy but at the same time , not extending them would be a good way to manage expectations of shareowners and tell us : dont you ever wish for 1$ for your shares... By extending them, they show everyone that they expect to make a buck from that price. If there is no value whatsoever in extending them in your eyes, we can at least agree it sends the right signal.
I think we can go on and on depending on which angles you choose and find the reasons that suit yourself. I'll take the half full this time please!
