Really? What in the headline I provided is not true? Isn't the world largest open pit copper mine currently halted? What are you trying to say? That we should just ignore it and move on?

I think the point he was getting at it (not to put words in his mouth) is the headline (and push to get this info out in the public's eye) was trying to shock the market back into reality.

Its also all true, and I didn't see any implication that it wasn't or to ignore it.

Do you think its coincidence we are hearing a lot about cutting production and closures all of the sudden? I think copper producers are trying to bring copper prices back up from 6 year lows and I hope it works...
