I guess I shouldn't feel so bad about getting it wrong, again, on my last buy at 7.01. I said then "it may not be the bottom but it's low enough for me".
every time I get it wrong it robs me of the confidence I used to have when I got it right well over 80% of the time. now I find when I have a good thought, I hesitate to pull the trigger and the opportunity soon passes, or, even worse, try bottom fishing instead of waiting positive momentum.
as the end of the year approaches we should have a better picture of our situation.
I also believe the current market is more manipulated than at any time in my long investing career. China has figured it out, hint at bad numbers and then, take advantage of the resulting lower commodity prices the rumor produces.
Someday it will change when there is more competition for the dwindling supply, and I can see it, but it takes more waiting......chunky
