Message: Teck Announces Dividend and Buyback

True colours? I don't see this as a for or against situation. We're retail investors who don't have access to inside information so it's up to us to estimate the value of CUU shares. Teck has an estimate of market value and so do EE/Elmer. How much CUU gets for SC above/below market value will depend on whatever leverage they have. Many have posted here a value estimate based on cash flow, NPV etc. without any connection to an actual mining property sale. Every mining sale I've seen gives us numbers to see what impact happened on their share price(typically 1.5 times) and what value was placed on their resource(typically 3 cents a lb CUeq), depending on the stage of development. When Hudbay bought out Augusta's Rosemont mine it was 1.6 times the Augusta share price and about 5 cents per lb cu. However, that project had almost finished their regulatory permits and had far better economics than SC presented in the FS. I'm trying to get a reasonable estimate of the value of CUU and nothing more.
