This was a huge development (indirectly) for Copper Fox! Mainly for the reason it provides increased leverage during negotiations.

Either way, whoever takes over CUU’s 25% stake is have to pay handsomely for it. For us to get fair market value for our asset, a few major things needed to happen.

Improving market outlook 

Turn in the metal cycle 

Production decision and Permitting

Galore Creek sale (comparable project to gauge value)

Updated economics (new technical report)

dam sale closure (Teck funds now at 3 billion cash, 6 billion liquidity)

So a few of these events have occurred. I think our time is coming soon :)
