Not a Promo, just a thought on what should be a logical Newmont strategy.

I was involved in M&A activities for many years - to me, this deal would make huge sense from Newmont, Teck and Copper Fox perspectives.

Valuation is obviously up to the parties involved. I do not have enough information to speculate. However, if a Newmont deal is a possibility, would make sense for Ernesto to negotiate a price that would make him, and fellow shareholders, much happier than they are at present.

In summary, this deal would make logical business sense. However, have no idea whether it will happen. But, if anyone from Newmont is reading this post.....
