I wasn't looking for any special pricing like a previously displayed 'the low of the day'. As you might know they did used to do this in past years but no longer....cra clamp downs they told me. My broker allows me to do 'in kind' securities transfers online between for example my cash account to my TFSA. The in kind transfer can be done mid-day (I did it with another stock just weeks ago to my TFSA) at the currently displayed last share price. The last displayed share price was for quite a while today at $0.005. The problem I encountered was that the order I was looking to submit was for a "de-registration", a RRSP withdrawal is not allowed online. You have to call in for a RRSP withdrawal request and get a rep to place the order at the price availble currently during the call (or the day's close price if you are calling after hours.). I couldn't get through to a rep in time. On a slow day the wait time for a real person is over two hours. I knew it was a long shot. Hopefully this market glitch happens on a slow trading day.
