As I repeated many times this is my own personnal opinion.  I don't represent Teck at all.

We missed Teck's last run from 4$ to 40$ in 2015.  Now Teck has more data on Schaft Creek.

If Teck it's 4$, 200M in Teck shares could be worth 2B in 2-3 years... so why not use this depressed market to get out of our situation?

Do you prefer to wait that Teck hit's 40$ again to get 1B or possibly have a chance to get the equivalent of a 2B transaction?

Royalties would also have a nice value & cash would allow us to significantly advance the other projects to be ready for the next bullmarket.
