Teck could play hardball based on their previous takeout of minority partners from other projects.
I think their lowball strategy to acquire us on the cheap won't work here mainly cause we are more of a private company with 1 person (EE) deciding the accepted value and our carried to production with no upfront cost to new partner based on current JV agreement.
Another major will look at that agreement very favourably and see value in this contract. So pay us fairly or we find another buyer.
Im hoping, as I said in other posts....the win-win scenario is Teck working with copper fox to determine fair overall project value....then using the updated numbers to find a new development partner taking equal interest in SC with Teck. This means Teck selling a portion of their ownership (25%) and our total interest. This is the best outcome for all interested parties IMO
