IMO,

Teck will bring Schaft Creek to production for peanuts. Their revamped QB2 numbers looked impressive, but I believe that Schaft Creek will be even better.

I also believe that Teck could bring Schaft Creek to production for free while keeping over 70% ownership.

If that's the case, Teck will have no choice to move forward with Schaft Creek, because in terms of IRR, I highly doubt they will have better projects in their pipeline.
