Teck won't suddenly wake up one day and drop its jr-starvation strategy.

There is one asterisk from me on this.  The only way someone would take-over the jr-punitive position of the SCJV is if this acquirer has undeniable influence over Teck, someone that Teck would never want to piss-off.   If we can identify that gorrila of a Major we might have a chance to get out from under Teck's boot.   But we still would need someome convincing to approach this gorilla.  JMHO
