Re: This go around, almost a decade later, are seriously closer to a real asset sale?
There are some important differences than a decade ago.
Back then CUU only had the SC asset (correct me if I'm wrong), now they two advance projects in both SC and VD. Plus, we have several prospective properties that do sound like they are worth exploring. We should be a lot less risky of an investment. We have two potential properties to sell.
There are a lot more shares outstanding that a decade ago. I don't know by how much.
But still your question remains - when will we get a real asset sale? I don't have any real sense of where we are at with SC. Teck has been doing some improvements but mostly it feels like they dragging their feet while they wait for right time (for them) to move ahead with the project. I'm hoping the PEA for SC will shed some light on that.
Has anyone does any type of figuring out what the new PEA for SC will show? MoneyK's thoughts on VD were very close to what was delivered.
