JimmyJay, Might as well plan a substantial work programme. Punch some more holes !
I have worked in the mining industry, as a subcontractor. to do repairs on production equipment, conveyors, slurry mills, ball mills, kilns, any rotating equipment which all have some form of bearings whether static, (such as babbit) or rotating brgs like tapered rollers or ball brngs. All strenuous work and not for the timid
Where I am going here, is that the lead time for this equipment is at least out 2-3 yrs at a minimum. AND, quite pricey. Most of the open pit mines I worked at were limestone quarries and aggregate /stone quarries. In new construction some companies have subcontracted operations like the ball milling out to other miners to do that for them until construction of their mine is complete. That way they can build up the material to process when the production facilities are done. Nice work.
