Newcrest purchased 70% of Red Chris for $804M US.

How much net cash flow is Red Chris producing with copper at $3.15 US? About 100M CAD per year?

That would make it's NPV (8%) very low, almost worthless. So Newcrest purchased 70% of Red Chris for the ressource and will need to rebuild it differently to extract the value, meaning more work & capex required, a lot more!

This cannot be compared with our SC (25%).

IMO.
