Personaly, i think it would be great to bring VD in a JV where a major could earn its share of the project under certain conditions. Lets do it the other way around this time!

I would go out and give 60% for free to anyone that can succesfully bring VD to production in the next 5 years.

With copper at $5, 40% would give us a $0.20 US dividend per year for mine life. Could last 20 to 30 years! Way better than getting 500M today.

Not much dowside for the major as he gets more pounds for very cheap, especially if he can finance most of the project with debt.
