I don't think SC requires them needing a partner. It's in their backyard (BC) and they can easily afford it with the cash flows they get from QB2 and coal operations.

Thanks to whoever flagged my post the other day. Doesn't even understand that Teck is there to make money through developing assets into money making mining projects and not to screw around with taking out a junior partner just to save couple bucks.
