Glencore is basically undervaluing Teck.  Teck made what? $9 billion last year and Glencore made $17B?

so new merged company, Teck would add 35% to the bottom line and Glencore would contribute the remaining 2/3.

Yet the new merger is at a 25%/75% split. 

 

This is before factoring the new ebitda growth from Teck in QB2.
