The Schaft-Galore combined project reality looks undeniable to me now.
- Galore is so challenged geographically at the deposit site that it needs to haul its ore a long distance for processing anyway. Might as well rail it downhill to the neighboring flats of the Schaft Creek valley.
- We saw Tetra Tech list on their site 10 years ago a Teck project study called Galore Creek / Schaft Creek (that is until we inquired about it with them, got no response and it was promptly taken down)
- Exploring synergies of a combo mine is a primary recommendation in the SC PEA.
- Newmont is being kept a long time in waiting in getting a Galore PFS done. Maybe the PFS exposes Galore "dependence" on a Schaft Creek processing plant and other infrastructure.
- Teck refuses to talk about either project, especially Schaft Creek
- and now, we have the Premier confirming that Teck is moving aggressively on mines in BC. Teck only has two projects in B.C. ...
It is so overdue for Teck to drop this juvenile obfuscation of the value of these projects, especially Schaft Creek, and man up to their errors of not moving faster and sooner.
Time to pay the piper Teck!
