Mind you, we have waited years to see these findings/conclusions!

Elmer was careful to add "hopefully" conclude in the near term. Let's hope "near term" doesn't become the next "soon."

I'll say it again, it's not what they tentatively promise, it's what they actually get done. Actions have to replace words. 

But it does seem a tweeted video message like this is in direct response to the growing chorus of complaints and disillusionment expressed here on the Agoracom discussion forum over management's lack of execution.
