I couldn't agree with you more Kinte, it always seemed stupid to see a country so blessed with resources as Canada to allow it's concentrated ores to be shipped to a foreign country to be upgraded. I sometime wonder how it's all accounted for and if some could be misallocated. It then has to be shipped back as metal for distribution after using a lot of bunker oil, the dirtiest fuel on the planet.

If it was refined in the Golden triangle it would be supported by the bulk of the mines located there, and provide many jobs for local residents.
