Thanks Skibum.

Yeah 7 days off almost sounds like 4 weekends a month but it you loose a day. Then you lose two more getting in and out of camp. You can do that for a while but as a permanent lifestyle for 4-5 years it wears you down in many ways. Then off to the next panic project for 4-5 years.

Lots of Vancouver Island workers are not working and very used to camp life. I'll take just about any new construction camp over a run-down logging camp.
