Yeah, CRA, my favourite people. In the past 8 years every member of my family's personal income tax, my farm GST (years ago before HST), sale of farm, sale of rental property, rental property income for three years in a row, renovation tax credit, husband's business and HST returns have all been audited. I have personally completed each of those audits and ask each time why we have been 'randomly' selected for audit so many times. Wonder why they don't go after people who actually rip them off for 100 times more than we make each year combined.......sorry, I have a little sore spot with CRA. I have been told so many conflicting things by their many employees that you just can't trust anything they say. I guess I was just a little hopeful on this idea; so glad JayJ and yourself piped up before I went ahead. Anyway, life's too short, glad it didn't turn out to be a huge deal for you. Hope we get some good news soon here with CUU.
