That's fine for refining and keeping the product for local consumption. But it's not that great for the export out of country crude oil sales. Other than the us market, china may be one of the biggest buyers. Would make more sense going to a western port. And pipelines can be better decinded for loss in pipeline breaks if they care to. Raiways have done big numbers of pollutions. Look at ex: Lake Wabamun, years later,still can't eat the fish.We do not have near the rail capacity to handle this amont of oil being shipped. I believe rail lines are at capacity already. JMO
