Bison Gold starts drilling Central Manitoba project

BISON GOLD RESOURCES INC. ANNOUNCES THE COMMENCEMENT OF A 6,000M DIAMOND DRILL PROGRAM ON ITS 100% OWNED CENTRAL MANITOBA PROPERTY

Bison Gold Resources Inc. has commenced drilling on the company's 100-per-cent-owned Central Manitoba gold property. Contractor Wynne Drilling Ltd. of Bissett, Man., has mobilized one drill to the property, and a second is expected to be added in September.

This diamond drill program is anticipated to be a minimum of 7,000 metres with 4,500 metres in the area of the Central Manitoba mine and 2,500 metres at the nearby Ogama-Rockland mine site, as recommended in the company's recently issued NI-43-101 document. Drilling at the Central Manitoba mine will follow up on the company's 2008 discoveries, both east and west of the Tene shaft, and test other targets along this three-kilometre-shear zone system.

Upon completion of the Central Manitoba drilling, Bison Gold plans to undertake a 1,000-metre drill program on the company's 100-per-cent-owned Cryderman gold property, located eight kilometres north of the Central Manitoba. In addition, Bison Gold also expects to complete an IP geophysical survey and 2,000-metre drill program later this year on its 100-per-cent-owned Apex gold property, located 17 kilometres southeast of Snow Lake, Man.
