Saturday, Rusoro Mining (RML.V) said it completed the acquisition of Gold Field's Venezuelan assets, including the producing Choco 10 mine for US $180 million cash and 140.0 million shares. The company also said that the acquisition provides company with immediate gold production and confirms company as a focused gold company with an exception growth profile.

As per terms of acquisition, all release conditions having been satisfied and net proceeds of C$211.5 million plus accrued interest from the private placement of subscription receipts have been released from escrow.
