The following statement seems to summarize the biggest danger (to me) for KRY....aside from dying of old age waiting for the permit. We've heard this joint venture talk stated over and over again. When queried on this possibility KRY stated that they do not have a "Plan B" in this regard. That seems like either bullshit or corporate negligence. Seems like the MOA and conversion to joint venture status are not mutually exclusive. Previous "joint venture" talk referred to a 51% Vz\49% KRY split. 70% Vz\30% KRY is a horse of a different color. Can anyone tell me why I should not be concerned?

According to sources, one option would be the formation of joint ventures with a majority stake for the state to swing between 60 and 70 per cent, thereby controlling the country's natural resources."
