Chavez backed off his embargo against Exxon in 5 days -- someone explained to him that his two refineries that specialize in heavy crude in the US would take the brunt of the pain and that Exxon could get better quality oil without a problem.

Chavez did start prattling on in the Alo about increasing taxes on oil produced since prices are so high. If he doesn't back off on that, even Total won't stay around.
