As part of such an important appointment, the legislator Alfredo Arcila, gave a press conference to give their views on this new challenge that assumes his political career, indicating that the new philosophy of CVG should be directed to a profound process of reviewing programs and projects of this corporation, "to ensure economic and social development, underpinned by human development," she said.
The legislature's regional parliament, he said the Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), must become a corporation that beyond the production of economic dividends, it is obliged to become a lever for human welfare of guayaneses, and human development on a formula that could be termed: Pope-Pupitre-Penicillin, ie food sovereignty, education and health, "he said.

He said that within his duties as vice president of CVG, will strive to launch a struggle against exclusion, insisting that the socio-economic benefits should be directed towards social welfare and human guayaneses all.
