Looks like our worst fears are being realized:
1. CVG must review contract (what a surprise)
2. KRY (and GRZ) singled out as environmental polluter that must be removed due to the extremely sensitive location of those particular (and ironically enough...most valuable) mines.
3. Hugo must have paid some local miners off to bad mouth big bad KRY....to back up the recent jail house diatribe that coincidentally hit the press just when this was all going down....shades of "the leap of the frog accusations" directed at Hecla
4. The military has taken over control of the mine.
5. Sanz will need to work some PR with the local miners to let them squat on a few parcels to shut them up
All of this against a backdrop of nationalizations of everything from iron mines to condom factories and the explicit warning that this would happen (reference April 28 InfoJoe article) that Sanz would nationalize everything in site.
I'm not feeling too warm and fuzzy right now. Give me a reason to be happy.
