I would definitely put this in the rumour/speculation category. Although there was evidence that Polyrus (That is the company you were referring to) did do some sniffing on KRY. There were some who said they even made a low ball offer, but I doubt that as any offer solicited or unsolicted would have to have been reported to shareholders. KRY denied emphatically that they had been approached by Polyrus. Still, I am reminded of a nightmare scenario I got blasted for....that some bad news would come out thrashing the PPS and then a company like Polyrus could come in and get a much better pre-permit price.
The one thing that does not hold water with their rumour is that KRY cannot wait out Chavez for two years while doing other exploration. All their eggs were in LC and they needed to get going soon. They only have cash for 18 months as of the last financing deal. There is something bigger in the pot IMHO. Whether that will be good or just better than a sharp stick in the eye remains to be seen.
